Before the patch, Hive Mind was a very easy boss, according to others ive spoken to who have played Calamity Mod. but recently, Hive Mind went through an insane amount of buffs making the fight extremely hard. I wouldn’t know the difference between current Hive Mind and old Hive Mind, but this boss is just infuriating!!!! 
I am playing Rev+master mode (my first calamity mod experience), and every single other boss ive been able to whittle down with the best recommended gear, but no matter what gear i use for Hive Mind I cant even manage to get him to 40%. I’m open for any classes to use against this guy because i’m pretty good with all of them anyway. This is my current setup:
Firestorm Cannon + Storm Surge
Victide armor + ranged headgear
Lightning Boots, White Horseshoe Balloon, Craw Carapace, Shield of Cthulhu, Shark Tooth Necklace, and Rusty Medallion
w/ Well Fed

Well, I don't really play on master or rev mode, but I think I can give a somewhat decent loadout guide.
If the image doesn't work, I recommend desert prowler armor or fossil armor, the molten fury or magna cannon, with jesters arrows or flash rounds with an ammo box. It might not work, but it also might work too. For accessories, I would recommend movement accessories, such as hermes boots, bundle of horseshoe balloons, etc.

the magna cannon seems really interesting! ill be sure to get the desert prowler armor too

probably since you werent playing on rev+master and the fricking buff didnt exist i hate this boss so much

Yeah I don't imagine that'd be fun from the sounds of it.
My only experience with Hive mind is in Infernum mode (my only calamity experience) and it was challenging then, so I imagine if imfernum buffed it too it'd be quite the challenge.

How is the hive mind hard? I beat it first try and it was very eazy

It really depends on skill level. If you're experienced with calamity, and well tuned to the mechanics, then yeah it's pretty easy. If you're still a bit new to calamity bosses, and haven't really gathered much skill yet, then it's quite hard. I recommend studying his patterns, and just practicing until you're comfortable.

I beat it first try when it was my first time playing calamity but I’ve only played on classic mode before so it might be hard if you are playing on master or expert mode.
